| Use | 1. Thymol can be used to prepare essences and fragrances. It is an additive in cigarettes and is also commonly used to create flavors such as cappuccino, mint, citrus, mushroom flavors, and spices. 2. Thymol can be used in biopesticides. 3. Thymol has a strong bactericidal and fungicidal effect. It is mainly used in oral hygiene products, and in otolaryngology for the preparation of fungicidal tinctures to treat fungal infections of the external auditory canal and skin; 4.
